LISA LOMAS
THERAPIES
A more integrated approach to bodywork and recovery
At Lisa Lomas Therapies, treatments are tailored to support more than just temporary relief from tension. Using a combination of sport therapy, myofascial release, fascial unwinding, vacutherapy, medical acupuncture, and nervous system focussed bodywork, the aim is to better understand how your body is moving, compensating and responding to stress.
Whether you are dealing with persistent tightness, recurring discomfort, postural strain, injury recovery or simply feeling physically overwhelmed, treatments are designed to work with the body, not against it.
Every session is adapted to the individual, combining clinical understanding with a calm holistic approach to help you feel more comfortable in your body again.

Who I Help
I commonly support people who are dealing with:
Ongoing tension
Recurring pain

"A Hidden gem on the Isle of Bute"
"Finding high-quality, holistic care can be a challenge, but finding it on an island feels like a true miracle. She is an absolute hidden gem on the Isle of Bute, providing the highest quality of care and support.
I received lymphatic drainage treatment alongside massage infused with doTERRA essential oils, and the results have been incredible. I felt an instant improvement after my first session, which carried on over the next few days and built even more with each return visit. Her deep knowledge, professionalism, and experienced touch are obvious from the moment you meet her. She doesn't just treat you; she truly understands the complex harmony of the body. I cannot recommend her highly enough for anyone seeking genuine mind and body wellness."

About Me
My approach to treatment is based around understanding how the body responds to stress, tension, movement and overload as a whole — not simply chasing symptoms in isolated areas.
Over the years, I’ve become increasingly interested in the connection between the nervous system, fascia, posture, recovery and persistent muscular tension, and how these can influence the way people feel physically day to day.
I originally trained in bioresonance, then moved into sports therapy and have continued developing my knowledge through additional training in areas including medical acupuncture, myofascial techniques, vacutherapy and nervous system-focused bodywork.
My work combines clinical understanding with a more integrated and holistic perspective, recognising that pain, tension and recovery are often influenced by far more than muscles alone.
I’m particularly passionate about helping people who feel:
• constantly tight or restricted
• physically overwhelmed or stressed
• stuck in recurring tension patterns
• frustrated by symptoms that keep returning
• disconnected from comfortable movement within their body
Whether somebody comes for sports therapy, medical acupuncture, vacutherapy or relaxation-focused treatment, my aim is always the same:
to help people feel more comfortable, supported and at ease in their body again.
Every treatment is tailored to the individual, because no two bodies — or nervous systems — respond in exactly the same way.
Alongside hands-on therapy, I may also discuss supportive lifestyle approaches where appropriate, recognising that wellbeing and recovery are often influenced by sleep, stress, movement, hydration and other daily habits beyond the treatment room itself.
My approach is not based around “no pain, no gain.”
Instead, I aim to work with the body and nervous system in a way that feels supportive, effective and sustainable — helping encourage long-term comfort, movement and recovery rather than simply temporary relief.
Based in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, I offer a calm, welcoming space where treatments are adapted to your individual needs and goals.
Qualifications and Background
My background is rooted in sports therapy, with continued professional development across movement, fascia, nervous system support and integrated bodywork approaches.
Training includes:
• VTCT Level 4 Sports Therapy
• Medical Acupuncture
• Fascial Unwinding – British College of Osteopathy
• Vacutherapy – ACE Massage Therapy
• Sports Cupping – Sports Therapy Scotland
• Bioresonance according to Paul Schmidt – Rayonex
• Plant-Based Nutrition – eCornell University
I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing study, with a particular interest in the relationship between fascia, posture, stress physiology, movement and persistent muscular tension.
I wanted to let you know also that yesterday was day 30 of my detox, I’m feeling completely back to myself now, the bio resonance was an answer to a prayer for me as I was worried that I wasn’t going to feel better and didn’t know what was wrong 🙏🏼 other than my skin everything is great, but I know my skin will sort itself out soon, I’m still taking the spirulina and LLV. Thank you so much for all your help xx

Reviews
I have had a couple of Bioresonance sessions with Lisa and I have to say it has helped me in many ways with chronic conditions I have suffered with for decades. Highly recommend giving this a go. I also use the oils to support my health and learning all about those with the continued support is priceless.”

I have received bioresonance treatment from Lisa and also been introduced to essential oils and helped to understand them from Lisa. She has helped me to get to the underlying issues of my ill health. From the treatment from Lisa and what I have learnt I feel that my health is improving rather than deteriorating.
